So… who’s behind this?
Permanent Summer is a small family-run brand born in Altura, in the eastern Algarve — where the summers are long, the light is golden, and the sea is always close.
Christopher is Mauritian by origin and Portuguese by heart. Two islands, two coastlines, one obsession with warm weather. That double dose of sunshine runs through everything we make.
How this all began?
It started with frustration. Christopher kept looking for simple, well-made summer pieces — nothing loud, nothing cheap. He couldn’t find them. So he made them.
What began as a side project in the family garage in Altura quickly became something real. A brand built on one idea: that summer isn’t just a season. It’s a feeling worth wearing every day.
What do we actually make?
